Sami Lushtaku finally allowed to take the oath

The Court of Appeal has approved the complaint of Sami Lushtaku’s lawyer, Arianit Koci to allow his client take the oath after he was re-elected mayor of Skenderaj on 3 November.

The news was confirmed by the lawyer, Arianit Koci.

“Yes, the Court of Appeals has approved my complaint for allowing Lushtaku to take the oath” Koci told Kosovapress.

This is the second request of the defence since the first complaint had been rejected and chances that this municipality goes in extraordinary elections were big.

However, in the 3rd November’s elections, Lushtaku had won the race for mayor of Skenderaj in the first round by winning 80% of the votes.
